For those of you who missed it, Judge Clark of Liverpool Crown Court made some pretty stupid remarks about collectors of deactivated guns as reported in the Liverpool Echo while sentencing a man who plead guilty to possession of a prohibited weapon after removing the rod from the barrel of the gun (frankly I don't think he would have been convicted if had plead not guilty). I wrote to the Lord Chancellor's Department complaining about the remarks and they tell me the judge is being investigated and they will make a report on August 9th. Steve.
