The movie was the brilliant nod to James Bond, starring Arnie, Art Malik and
friends with three nukes and some very dodgy tricks with an Uzi on a
staircase, called "True Lies". "When he said 'I do', he never said what he did!"
The end of the film, where the terrorists are holed up in the tower block
with a nuke and Arnie's stage daughter. To get into the floor, they take a video
camera with a hidden compartment for a pistol, and pose as reporters.
A good movie, and that wasn't a spoiler.
Talking of life immitates art, the new Scientolgy recruitment film,
"Battlefield earth" has a scene where a person has their head blown off
by an explosive collar. This film was released about a week before that
poor woman was blown up in South America by the time bomb glued round her
neck. Any connection?
