Alex's pal is in a ludicrous position, the Home Office won't compensate him
for spares and the police won't return them.

I surrendered a substantial quantity of 1911 spares which were rejected for
compensation and Norfolk police returned them to me without a murmur. I
made it quite clear in my letter to Norfolk Constabulary what these parts
were and they were just handed back. TVP are just being bloody minded.

If I can be of any help to Alex or his pal they should contact me on

TVP are actually contradicting themselves, because if they considered
the parts to be controlled under the Act, they should not have accepted
them, because parts controlled under the Act must be entered onto an
FAC. As these parts weren't, they were in essence saying thay they
were accepting illegally possessed parts for consideration by the
compensation scheme.

Their position is totally illogical.

Steve.
