I would like to say that I think a commonly accepted symbol of our
persecution by the state is an excellent idea but the Star of David isn't the
one we should select.

I apologise to the CS subscriber who made the little silver (pewter?) pistols
with the black ribbons, as I can't remember his name, but I think he had the
core of the right idea.

Our symbol should not be the black ribbon but the silver pistol. It has the
advantage of being question provoking, incapable of being mixed up with
anything else and easily available. I saw a stall at the Phoenix meeting
selling a whole selection of them. It doesn't have to be the same pistol for
everyone, it doesn't even have to be a pistol, shotguns and rifles are
available, but it would mark the wearer as a shooter. They are small enough
to be worn on the collar of a sports shirt or on the lapel of a business suit.

Anybody else think its a good idea.
