Site hp... Setting Up Serial Communication Parameters On The Front Panel Of The HP 7550A Plotter 1. To configure the 7550A set the serial settings through the Front Panel. The standard settings for PC communication is as follows:
Remote = STANDALONE Handshake mode = HARDWIRE Parity = 8 BITS Baud rate = 9600 2. To access the SERIAL sub-menu, press the "ENTER" then the "NEXT DISPLAY" buttons. 3. Navigate through the different levels of the HP 7550A plotter Serial sub-menu using the "ENTER" and "NEXT DISPLAY" buttons. 4. Once the desired sub-menu is displayed, press the button corresponding to the menu choice you desire to change and display the current option. 5. Change the option by pressing the button under the option to reach the desired setting. Press the "ENTER" button to save and confirm the desired setting. NOTE: A serial cable must be connected to the computer/modem port of the HP 7550A to communicate with a PC and also verify that the PC and the software are set up to the same baud rate and parity that is set on the plotter. If necessary, contact the software company for software configuration information. Puis STOP J'ai le message sur l'afficheur LCD du plotter "buffer overflow", je sature le buffer d'accord, mais ce plotter a l'air de fonctionner que si je l'attaque avec 9600 bauds. Les ports com et leurs r�glages sont pour moi une nouveaut� malgr� leur v�tust� !, y-en a t il parmi vous qui avez d�j� bricol� avec ces param�tres... J'avoue qu'entre le buffer, les bits de parit� et consort je m'y perd !
