The gravel on 58 goes from Cliftonville to the Nash County line which is
in sight of hwy 97.

You can still ride 58 north and turn left on Hornes Church Rd. at Silver
Lake heading west unless they tag that today.

Subject: [COWs] Routes out of town

How far up 58 does the gravel begin?

With the gravel on the roads what are the proposed routes to get out of
town now for a W or SW direction? One could take Lake Wilson out then go
north & west for that part of the county, or take Forest Hills Rd to
Down St. ext. Either way, until the gravel dissipates getting out of
town will add a couple of miles to any ride in the effort to avoid the
loose gravel.

Any other options I haven't thought of?
