With the excess heat today, Doc and I decided to ride early. We cruised to Elm City, Saratoga and Stantonsburg for 43 miles. 18 to 20 mph pace with very little traffic. This was Doc's "redemption" ride as this route did him in a couple months ago. But not today. Home by 9:30 before the needle even hit 80 degrees.
