Ah yes, someone cuts right to the bone. Hopefully the guys can be more gentlemanly when a lady or ladies are in the group. From my point of view the only thing that held you back from running them down was a stop sign and an on coming car.

We had a great ride yesterday, missed you Kim. The guys were nice enough to do all the "heavy lifting" as they pulled through the headwinds.. I slowly snuck to the front just in time for a nice little tail wind. Thanks guys. There was only one display of testosterone as Tim, Steve and Nick took off at some point (don't have a clue where we were - but it was a nice road). Jeff dared me to try to catch them, so naturally I tried. But I couldn't. Tim is riding very strong despite the very low caloric intake! Bert got the high maintenance award yesterday. Soon after informing me that I was a better wind block than Tim, Bert had a flat tire. Hmmmmm. (Slight of hand?) (It had not been long prior to that when Bert informed me I just looked like one of the guys.) Hope everyone has a great ride today. I'll catch you after my crash diet and plastic surgery. kp --- On Tue, 1/19/10, Kim Benson <[email protected]> wrote: From: Kim Benson <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [COWs] Tuesday ride To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Date: Tuesday, January 19, 2010, 7:09 AM I plan to ride today-anyone else? Perfect form...well they say that egg shape (or shall I say round) is very aerodynamic and having sufficient body mass to take advantage of the available gravity is also a plus. I am jealous of those riding tomorrow, enjoy! Any update on the COWs kit? The miles just keep rolling on !!! Jim, Nick, Jeff, surf dude, Steve. S., KP and I were good for another 40 miles today. Stiff north winds put a little damper on the ride but lots of wonderful 60 degree sunshine today. Congrats to Jeff for winning the soap box derby today. He attributed his victory to having perfect form. Nick was a close second. KP gave a good effort as well. Surf dude has his first flat. At least now he knows you don't have to phone for help. KP's Raleigh Road performance was making sure we stayed in front of that little 18 mph ghost rider she programmed on her Garmin. We succeeded! Another great ride today! 64 degrees tomorrow with a light breeze! Hmmm! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CyclistsOfWilson-COWs" group.
