a great weekend of riding. bert did lay out a nice route yesterday and it was a classic group ride. riding is so much more enjoyable with a group and we really seem to be growing. 7-9 riders is almost the regular turnout now, when it used to be 3-4. soap box derby going down the potato hill was the type of fun we need to have in a ride every now and then.

Stiff north winds put a little damper on the ride but lots of wonderful 60 degree sunshine today. Congrats to Jeff for winning the soap box derby today. He attributed his victory to having perfect form. Nick was a close second. KP gave a good effort as well. Surf dude has his first flat. At least now he knows you don't have to phone for help. KP's Raleigh Road performance was making sure we stayed in front of that little 18 mph ghost rider she programmed on her Garmin. We succeeded!
