The group I ride with have a cool ride that I haven't ridden yet where they ride from Raleigh to Richmond, Va. (300K) and ride the train back to Raleigh for like $20.
Nick mentioned one time about doing a similar ride from Wilson to Fayeteville (~100 miles) and riding the train back to Wilson. Would be kinda cool. We just need a little more effort in trying to put it together. The train ride is cheap and they have bike boxes.
