Just finished the last fitness test for the BB&T Corp Fit Challenge
program today at lunch -- Aimee said we had a great group from BB&T!
Anyone else interested in taking the fitness challenge program to their
workplace should definitely get in touch with Aimee. Great way to get
other people motivated who are not usually active -- and good way to
bond with your co-workers and have some fun!! Aimee definitely makes it
fun!!! I copied her on this email so you have her email address, and
she teaches Turbo Kick at the Y on Wednesday at 6:30pm.

I'm definitely in for 1:00 tomorrow afternoon -- can't wait!! Although
have to admit being a bit nervous having never ridden with a group
before. Dropped my bike at Don's to install my computer and he
mentioned that a female police officer is planning to join us too (can't
remember her name). So it looks like we'll have a good group tomorrow!!
I'm with David --- I hope it's not going to be this windy tomorrow. I'm
not running 14 miles, but I am going to get a run in before meeting you
guys at the old Starbucks. Last weekend running 9 miles including the
Nags Head bridge into the wind was not as much fun as I thought -- great
view but too windy!!!

Awesome Jim!

saturday 1pm old starbucks nash st n
beside walgreens on the corner of ward blvd
and nash st

Looks to be some new riders and experienced
'B' group riders saying they will show:

Linda Cavas ---- 'heads up the BB&T fitness challenge @ da Y, right
Linda?
Cole Perry ---- has ridden w/ the coWs many times before
Lee Eatman ----experienced tri dude and accomplished noon lapper
steve reid ---- secret training up raleighway and fike/uncw grad
hope julie zee shows up

i feel rumors in the stars that a randonneuring celebrity 'just might'
grace us
w/ his presence this weekend!

anyone else?
Thanks to bobL who has expressed interest in helping get the 'b' group
organized also! Thanks bob and thanks again for the alcohol wipes!!
They brought me back to reality last sat!

Like you suggested, this is an opportunity to get a 'b' ride group
established.
Once the new riders feel comfortable w/ the multiple route options and
know
that the coWs are willing to help. The ONLY way a weekly 'b' group will
begin to be available EVERY weekend is if you show up and want to learn
and have fun doing it. The coWs are here to help it get started.

**except me :( i will be out this weekend, thanks mr white pickup
truck!
