Congratulations Tim.

Here’s the other Sunday ride report: Wally, Vino and I headed out from OSB at
2 and picked up Dave Prafka on the way out of town. We did the Lucama route
with a gusty headwind early. We will back the “hotternhell” description as we
all went through extra water. Wally won the lottery in Lucama as he got a two
for one deal on Gatorade. The tailwind part of the way back into town helped.
Vino took the green jersey for the “sprint” on Downing.

Saturday’s ride was a group of 16 including 5 or 6 from the Rocky Mount group.
Their presence turned the route from a trip to the SW into an anti-CoWs ride to
Nashville. The climb up Potato Hill with a tailwind was great; the group kept
the pace around 21. The high pace continued until the turn for home when the
wind slowed things slightly. I hear that the lead group averaged 20.5 for the
42 miles. I fell off the lead group after hitting the wall on Old Carriage.
Thanks to Steven for hanging back with me through the end of the ride.
