A brisk 48 degrees at the start today so I'm expecting a smaller crowd than yesterday, but there is like 15 cyclist at DD when I get there. Wow, this is cool seeing so many cyclist on less than perfect days this weekend. We decided to head out to Town Creek, and points beyond. See the link below for actual route as even I was lost a couple times out there. Group stayed together for most of the ride. Jim escorted new rider Mary for a wee bit shorter route. Chris B. and Steve S., found a short cut as well. About 30 miles into the route we split into two groups. DC and Turbo Dan, already had ridden 37 miles before our ride started, were itching for a bit more tempo as well as a couple others so group A gave in to their egos and pushed on. Twas a lot of fun on the asphalt today. Ended up with 39 miles total, and the winds were much nicer than yesterday, though the wheeeeee factor never applied today it was still a great ride.
