I joined up with Wally and Dale this evening for a little wind torture. 20+ mph wind gust and legs already fried from yesterday. Wally leads us out having no trouble with the wind. Packhouse, Industrial Park, Old Raleigh, St. Rose to Lucama into a very stiff wind and averaging 18.5 mph. Much nicer coming back Radford, Lamm Rd., 42 and Airport. The 35 mph portion of the ride was Dale doing the lead out for Target Hill. Dang! Back to Checkers for 27 miles total and a 20.1mph average.
