A large herd of 14 left DD, Marion and Brian on new machines. Tried out the new pavement on Cliftonville, tar river ch, Vaughn 's chapel, walkers store, batchelor rd, to sandy cross, old carriage LCR, lake Wilson. Good steady pace, caught tail wind and Bob L dropped the hammer, everyone else took the bait ant the pace quicked, Lucas pulls at 27, DC, Dale and Steve T, trying to ride like his wife, (LW ) attack on the lake Wilson hills.
