Bob L and I roll out of DD at 8:30 to flush the doughnuts out of the legs.
Misleading wind direction and speed. Did a new 35 mile route perfect for E
/SE wind. 58, Pridgen, elm city, bridgersville, cattail, hwy 42, gardners
school rd to Saratoga, 264 alt to Tartts mill, hwy 42 back. Relatively flat,
light traffic, good roads. Took it easy the humidity was tough, rolled along
consistently at 19/20 for most of the ride. Hawley rode us down on hwy 42 at
the tech, he was just starting out and had been about 24 miles. After a brief
chat he shifted to a new gear and disappeared down ward blvd as we soft pedaled
in.
Enjoying a cold chocolate milk.
Great day to be on the bike.
