The early ride was a bit out of my schedule today'. Further the powers that
were lining up, Kinney, DC and Bob, along with my less than stellar performance
over the past few rides, not to mention that I have no clue what 151 watts even
is, made it all look a bit like “COWS recovery ride” in sheep's clothing. My
reply to Doc’s post for a 1:00 ride must have been too late for him to see set
the stage for a solo ride. Alas this lone “doggy” headed out of DD on Nash St
into the pasture of Wilson County. A cooler feel than yesterday and the breeze
today was significantly less than yesterday (not even close) making the ride
out an easy spin. Onto Horne's Church all the way out to Liles the slight tail
wind kept things light. Turning on to Stony Hill Church put the slight breeze
into the head on position yet the general down hill maintained the roll. Back
on Horne's Church, Bloomery, Packhouse and back home on Nash. A real recovery
ride for the old guy. 29 miles, 18 avg.
