Really, LR?? You're using the "all the other kids are doing it defense"?
Didn't work for Lance...
Now that I've warmed up, I agree that it was a great ride. Thanks, Lula,
for helping your "boys" start the year right.

Wooo Hooo! I am innocent. I was just holding the pace set by Bob.
Thanks a bunch for the fresh ginger bread Lula.
I am so blessed to be a part of such a great group of people. You
encourage, coach and understand what makes a fat old baldheaded man ride a
bike in the rain...and you come along for the fun. Looking forward to a
great year of rides.

Subject: {coWs} New Years Day ride
Bob L, LR, Allan, Nick, Brian Perry and I head out into a light rain with
very little wind.
Pace starts out as advertised, Bob L takes second pull, some talk of a
speeding ticket, but
was given the benefit of a down hill. LR takes over and gets several
speeding tickets, he is no longer the LR
but is now the yellow jersey. He appealed his tickets but they were up
held by the court of arbitration for sport, and
the UCI, still awaiting word from WADA. Lula now a grandmother bailed on
the ride and did what any grandmother would do, she
showed up at DD with warm ginger bread for her boys who have no better sense
than to go out and play in the rain.
For a brief time the new year's day Belgian riders have more miles than
Lucas for 2013.
Great day to be on the bike and have a hot bowl of soup.
Happy New Year
