I know, but seems to work OK, moreover I really don't think that a command-line-parsing library has much to do with files ^_^
Actually, it does. You can have special alias files in your home directory so that, for instance, --my-opt-set will be automatically translated by popt to --this 1 --that 2 --the-other 4. etc.
