Okay, I've moved bzip2-1.0.1-5 into /cygwin/latest/bzip2 and marked it as a 'test' release. BTW, note that the dll is UNSTRIPPED -- which explains the 480k size of the binary tarball. Michael, I'm not sure if that may be the cause of your success -- try stripping the dll and 'do your thing'. I was able to get 'objdump -p' to work without crashing, even on the stripped dll. --Chuck
