I've uploaded bzip2-1.0.1-5 to my home directory on sourceware (I don't have write access to cygwin/latest/bzip2/). This version does have info files, and I built it using the very latest binutils -- not a custom version. With the latest binutils, objdump -p cygbzip21.0.dll does not crash. (Verify, Michael? -- you can download from http://cygutils.netpedia.net/bzip2-1.0.1-5-src.tar.gz and http://cygutils.netpedia.net/bzip2-1.0.1-5.tar.gz this has a few extra changes that Michael hasn't seen, which enable makeinfo to work, and install the info files. --Chuck
