The announcement was a bit delayed (on the server end), but the binary package is now in Ports as of this morning. > There seems to be a stray bit of debug output in ApplyHints, attached svn diff > should tidy that up. Applied, thanks. > Looks much nicer. It might be a good idea to say this is the X.Org server, > although you may well think "Cygwin/X X.Org X server" has too many X's :-) The idea was that the dialog should be fully vendor-brandable. The default VENDOR_NAME_SHORT is indeed "X.Org", but that's replaced with the Cygwin/X branding through a configure flag; having "X.Org X.Org X server" obviously makes no sense. I still need to un-hardcode the website URI and use VENDOR_WEB instead as well to fully achieve this. > Hmm.. Testing again today, now the xine menu is working correctly in multiwindow, but: * if you look carefully, you can see that the window decoration is first made, then disappears instantly. Now I noticed that happens on other shaped windows as well. * the menu appears in the Windows taskbar (as "xiTK Window"); this does not occur in the Xfce desktop. * each submenu behaves as another window as well. > It's a plan! Then I'll proceed with the ITA on cygwin-apps@; the beauty of modular X11 is that I can always make another build of xorg-server before the actual upload if needed.
