Ok, I didn't think the osssink element would have worked on windows! How is 
this possible?

Also, I couldn't find it in the 'gstreamer-plugins-good' package, although 
the Gstreamer docs say that's where it should be? I had to download it as a 
separate package?

Now that I've downloaded and installed it though, audio is working :o)

What about a specific video sink for Windows, is this also available with 
the Cygwin
port? Or do I just need a running xserver and the ximagesink?
