I apologize if this was already answered but I attempted to find my
answer by reading the mailing list archives + searching Google. I also
read the website of Cygwin ports, it just seemed to cover how to
install only.

What is the proper way of uninstalling if I simply want all Cygwin
Ports packages removed yet all packages from main Cygwin to remain?

I was thinking just select the Cygwin Ports mirror only then hitting
Uninstall under All, but I was not sure if this would get rid of
packages that Cygwin Ports got as Dependencies from the main mirror.

I realize one could simply reinstall the entire Cygwin, but I have SSH
and Rsync daemons running, which tend to break in to many pieces doing
that, and it can take a very long time to recover them.
