I just wanted to let you know about a bug that I have come across,
trying to install two packages containing files with odd names:

tcl-8.5.6-2:
/usr/share/man/mann/pkg::create.n
/usr/share/man/mann/platform::shell.n

libsilc-doc-1.1.9-1:
/usr/share/doc/silc-toolkit/toolkit/silcbuffmt-SILC_STR_*_CHAR.html
(and a half dozen other nearly identically named files that have a "*"
in their name.)

When setup tries to extract the files containing the "*" and the "::",
it throws an error, saying that the file is in use and that I should
close any cygwin processes that are open. (None are, and yes I did
check with the handle search function in ProcExplorer, among other
checks.) When I edit the tar.gz files to change these characters to
"_", then everything is fine.

(FYI, I'm using the setup just before 1.7.)
