Please note:
Cygwin 1.7.9 was just released. While I recommended upgrading for the
bugfixes it provides, these packages will still run with Cygwin 1.7.8.
Highlights:
* Qt 4.7.2
* PySide LGPL Python bindings for Qt
* Parallel (i.e. multithreaded) compression utilities
pbzip2, pigz, plzip, pxz.
cygport git now uses pbzip2 if present for compression.
