I just got the same error, installing from cygwin.mirrors.pair.com. Don@ibm-42685c8c87b ~ $ emacs swim.pl /usr/bin/emacs-nox.exe: error while loading shared libraries: cyggnutls-26.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory $
I am doing a FRESH install on a Windows XP laptop. I added *only* emacs and perl ... nothing else ... and this error happens when I try to start emacs !!!
