 Well, that make sense.  The xterm, mxterm and rxvt use pty.
Glad to know it fixed the problem, and it was not dispatch.c ;-)

You have an extremely good eye: I installed the snapshot DLL from
16Mar2001
and out of roughly 100 client exits I have not seen a single infinite
loop.

The official response to 'crash on client exit' reports is now: wait for
cygwin1.dll version 1.1.9.
