The full archives of f-c, including a lot of personal chit-char, foul
language, and other such stuff, ARE available online. It would be a TRIVIAL
matter to search them and learn a whole lot about any random person, if
someone was so inclined.
Ditto Deja News. If it goes back far enough, you'll see ads I posted in
various .personals groups, and, even now, a lot of comments and postings in
various forums that are not entirely in keeping with my preferred public
persona. So? I knew the job was dangerous when I took it. (It's also why I
maintain a good number of emergency backup nyms for activities I really
don't want linked to Lizard, and know how to use telnet, vi, tin, and lynx.
Plenty of shell accounts out there...)
