FAIR TAXATION FOR AMERICA Dear Fellow American; This is serious and important. We are undergoing a revolution, a transition from an industrial economy to an information economy, which is driving a technology reevaluation. This technological revolution is doing several things: 1. It is further driving the small to mid size businessman out of business. The Internet has no tax, which is yet another advantage of big business. 2. It is robbing the public of taxes due. 3. It is gathering information all of us that we necessarily do not want to share. With crossindexing the information is more powerful. 4. The taxes can be sent to each state depending upon taxes collected. The Internet is great and supplies many advantages. It should no be held back. There is a measure that can level the playing field though while eliminating another tax problem. We suffer the following taxed: 1. Tax on income. 2. Social security taxed. 3. Taxes when you make a purchase, different amounts in different places. We are one nation. It is time for one flat tax. The wealthy will finally have to pay their due. Nobody else will have to pay more. Items from the foreign web can pay the proper tariff. Fairness all the way around is available with a large enough movement.
