It was accualy a streaming mp3 of a computerized (phonics) voice going:
"zero three two one zero zero" with music imbetween.

Once I typed 032 about six times in one minuite, I thought to my self, "Isn't
that the char for space?". So I ran cmd and hit alt-032. Sure enough it was a
space. I knew then that I had the anwser.

>I got one of those Timex data link watches a few years back and it had a
>plastic band. I noticed that there was a bunch of 1's and 0's in lines on
>it so I started wondering. It was ASCII code and it spelled out a message.
>"Listen to the Light." I looked around but nobody was giving out any prizes
>for it so I been bummed out ever since.

- From what I remember on the subject (Please don't quote me!) the link was
a CRT
with standard barcode encoding flashed accross it. It blinked and made
patterns
of light in a darkened room and was a joy to aptempt to decode on your own. So
perhaps it's more of an easter egg than a contest with a prize. Thank these
guys for doing something so cool like accualy giving out prizes! Next time
I'll
wait a day before jumping on the next one! ;)

Does God know Peano Algebra? Or does she not care if strong atheists
couldnt reason their way out of a trap made of Boolean presumptions?

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing, but zero knowlege is
absolutely subversive.

Beat your algorithms into swords, your dumb terminals into shields and turn
virtual machines into battlefields... Let the weak say, "I am strong".
