here's a slightly more likely idea: we could work with it to see what
the tolerances are of the shape of an eeg cap vs signal quality.
this is not something there is a lot of data on but it seems like a
helpful pursuit. _most eeg caps are not designed to the wearer's
skull_, but doing so can make the quality-to-price ratio much higher.
