Look, you say you're a librarian.

As a librarian, you are our first defense against wrongthinking.

Librarians are those who stop children ("save the children!!") from 
having access to "Playboy" and the "Constitution" and all that other 
subversive stuff. Librarians are the way we control our children.

Get use to it. Librarians are the censors for the state.

(If people want to read stuff without the intervention of censors, 
they need to go to Borders, where Playboy is readily available.)
