Journalists face charges for al Qaeda-Thai link

The Thai Government is threatening to prosecute foreign journalists who reported that a group of alleged senior al Qaeda agents met in southern Thailand in January to plot bombing attacks on tourist resorts across South-East Asia.
Defence Minister General Thamarak Isarankura has ordered a police investigation into a report last week in the Asian Wall Street Journal about the meeting, which was claimed to have been called by Indonesian Riduan Ismamuddin.
