The Govt just blew 18 million bucks telling us to BE ALERT! A huge mailout
and propaganda blitz of inane admonitions and idiotic advice.More is
planned and much will probably be sent back unopened,fridge magnet and all.
Then as PM John Howard left for Washington he mentioned that we were on
HIGH alert.(We have a three level,non color coded system of ALERTS! )
The acting PM was then asked in Parliament what our current state of ALERT!
was.
He replied Medium.
So much for 18 million bucks.
Oh it was,'high in places' according to the acting PM.
Places like airports presumably.
