3 arested in Houston anti war protest in front of the British consul, downtown Houston today.


Today protesters in Houston gathered in front of the British Consul to oppose the war on Iraq and advise the British Consul to also oppose the war. Many gathered in the Oilarchy skyscrapers of downtown Houston.The plan was to leave british goods such as tea in front of the consul(The Houston Tea Party). 4 Protesters went inside of the consul and were advised to leave but refused and later arested for trespassing. Many shouted on the streets "This is what democracy is" This has proved to be one of Houstons more exciting events, next to the Feb15 with over 6,000 protesters. This is the first many rallies against the war planned this week.
