Although this doesn't really answer your question, we did the reverse, updating the replica and running like that for a few days before getting around to the main server, and everything *seemed* alright, although I must admit I didn't look too hard. I did verify by checking the logs and looking at a few files that at least some updates were coming through, so it was not a show-stopper. Perhaps that's another option for you to consider. g
