Enthought certainly already know about and appriciate Cython. But they 
likely has neither money nor manpower to spare now (not that I really 
know anything about it, but there's this crisis and so on). I don't 
really see them taking on developing Cython in addition to everything 
else they are developing, just to make switch from PyQT in a "cleaner" 
fashion.
