I’m not aware of any vital record resources for Chudey. Celia also spent a little time in Czernowitz on her way to USA. I have their Ellis island info. Their parents were Solomon Katz and Rose Fuchs. I can’t locate any info on the Katz’s or Fuchs in either Bukowina or Galicia. I looked on both the Romanian and Ukraine Jewgen databases. I did locate info on Solomon’s brother Eisig and his wife Schoendle Leder on JRI-Poland because their name came up in what is now Kosiv Ukraine which was once part of Poland. I know they had 4 children, 3 of whom emigrated to USA. I do have lots of info once they immigrated but not any European info.
