Shalom, My name is Shulamit Druckman. My grandparents were from Bukowina, from Unter-Stanestie and Serghii. Both moved as teens to Chernowitz.
I am volunteering in an organization called "Giving Faces to the Fallen" whose goal is to complete the missing information of IDF fallen soldiers at the Ministry of Defense 'Yizkor' website. There are about 40 fallen soldiers from Romania for whom details are missing. I would be very grateful if you could help me find information, photos, documents and families of those 4 fallen soldiers, who I know are from Bukowina. The Bukowina Organization in Israel published these details but unfortunately we had no informative responses. *Shmuel Weiner-Rennert* Son of Joseph Weiner and Rosa Rennert, born in Bukowina. Murdered in 1938, buried in the 'Nachalat Yitzhak' Civil Cemetery in Tel Aviv. *Raphael Reuven Buchbinder* Born in Iasi in 1918, he was a member of 'Ken Beitar' in Chernowitz . He volunteered for the British army and was killed on May 1, 1943 when the Germans bombed the ship "Erinfora" which was on its way to assist the Allies in the invasion of Europe. [image: image.png] *Nachum Guttman* Son of Feiwel, born in Bukowina. Murdered in Nes-Ziona in 1936, buried at the 'Trumpeldor' Civil Cemetery in Tel Aviv. Had a wife and a daughter. [image: image.png] *Issachar (Bubi) Kamil HaCohen* Son of Moshe, born in 1912 in Chernowitz. Murdered on the way to Be'er Sheva in 1938, buried in the 'Mount of Olives' cemetery. Had a family.
