After reading this thread I agree that some of the proposed wiki pages
should be created. with respect to misrepresentation and attitudes --
it is a a bit important to make sure people see what is possible with
dabo and why it is easier with dabo than with vanilla python and
wxPython. so, a wiki page is called for with a few well-selected screen
captures from start to finish of an app in development.

Make some advocacy pages. I know from my experience with tcl/tk that
the perception that is hard to dispel that using tk will result in a
Motiff look and feel.

So, instead of a continuing lalalala philosophical discussion, I'd like
a concrete result: the wiki pages people proposed in this
thread. I don't know enough to create all the content, but if I don't see
some wiki pages go up in a few days, maybe I will create some outlines
of what I'd like to see and people can populate with content as a work in
progress.

heck, maybe all that content already exists mostly and just needs to
be better presented on the first page with some good links to glue it
all together.
