I don't follow. What do you mean? I don't use dSearchBox in my apps,
so I don't have any practical experience with it.

We don't use the wx Event; we use the wx style. We also implement a
common behavior: adding new text to the combo's choices when Enter is
pressed, and control that behavior via a property.
