OK, I looked into this control a bit more, and I have to say that the
wrapping implementation is completely wrong. It is not a textbox at
all, and should never have been mixed with the textbox mixin class. It
also looks like wx hides the reference to the text control (and the
other controls), making it hard to work with the various events in a
manner consistent with the rest of Dabo.
I don't think that this control should be patched; instead, it needs
to be re-thought. Wrapping complex controls like this is not a simple
matter.
