We need a brainstorm on redesigning the agnostic ui design. I have some
not-well-fleshed-out ideas, but no simple answer.
I've never found anything but frustration trying to work with relative imports.
I definitely have a few grey hairs because of them. In my own stuff I used
absolute
imports but I haven't tried moving that to Py3 either.
Should I try to switch to absolute imports? Or would that go against your
ideas above?
My ideas involve a complete redesign, so don't wait for them to materialize.

you can get working is what you should do.
