Thanks Paul

I briefly tried, but was worried that in installing 2.6 either over or beside
my 2.4, I could mess up my OS.

Does anyone know a Linux distro where dabo "just works"? If so, I could
download it or buy it, and use it on a separate computer until Mandrake
catches up with the wxpython requirements.

I really hope dabo does not continue requiring later and later versions of
wxpython as time goes by. If dabo became one of my core apps, of course I'd
jump through hoops to get it installed, but as something I'm just trying out,
I want an easy install. Probably most tire kickers are like me.

Thanks
