I just set up a little ui consisting of a panel within the initial
sizer. Inside the panel is a 3-slot vertical sizer and in the top slot
I put a button and turned off expand.
I then right-clicked on the (apparantly) empty space in the top slot and
the designer let me add a text-box without comment. Unhappily, the
new text box replaced the panel and blew away all of my existing object
tree.
