Hi Dabo users,

thanks for the info regarding the multiple problems I am having with dabo's
classdesigner.py.

  Here is the "about" information:

  Platform: Win
Python Version: 2.4.4 on win32
Dabo Version: Version 0.7.2s; Revision 2719
UI Version: 2.8.1.1 on wxMSW
Dabo IDE version 0.7.1s (Revision 755)

  The PC information:
System: Microsoft XP Professional 2002 service Pack 2
  coastline Micro Thresher series
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz 1.00 GB of RAM

here are the Dabo files that I have just downloaded.
  dabo-0.7.2-win 788KB
dabodemo-07.2-win 219KB
daboide-0.7.-win 279KB

These are the files that are listed under Stable Releases on the dabodev.com
download page.

  Windows Zips:
dabo-0.7.2-win.zip
dabodemo-0.7.2-win.zip
daboide-0.7.1-win.zip

If I understood correctly that the windows zips have problems that are
most-likely
preventing me from using the dabo classdesigner.py and further that the
subversion stable Release looks to be the same files that come in the windows
Zips.

The subversion stable branch has most likely fixed the problems I am
encountering
with dabo's classdesigner.py and this stable branch has some problem when
trying to
build them on a windows platform.

I need some real clear and honest direction.

I need to get some dabo code in front of a client with some of the user
screens.

this application is a desktop database application it is a learning Center.

While watching the screencasts I was sold on the 3 tier development process.

What I need is an answer is dabo ready for people to do development for
production
applications.

I watched Ed's PyCon 2007 video clips. The more I learn the more I am sure
that dabo can
provide the development environment that I need.

  Thanks,

  Doug
