Why can't we set it up as MDI on Windows? The MDI mindset is so prevalent that we'll be forever telling people they are wrong for wanting it, and they'll just think we are being asses. Which we would be because it is like 2 lines of code! :) However, it could be more complicated than that, because we still don't have a parent window (the IDE environment).
