This sounds like the problem with the settings.py file that somehow
got reverted in Subversion. To fix this, go to the folder where you
installed the runtime. There should be a folder in there named
'dabo'; open that and there should be a file named 'settings.py'.
Open that in Notepad or any text editor, and go down to the bottom. A
few lines up should be a line that reads:
### Settings - end
Just before that line add the following line so that it now looks like:
checkForWebUpdates = True
### Settings - end
Save and close, and then try running the runtime again. Let me know
if that works.
