Actually, it was the GUI that was a total moron, since it said
things were successful! I've made a change to fix that, but it won't
be in Web Update immediately.
If you needed admin privileges to install Dabo, then yes, you'll
need admin rights to update anything in your Python installation. Uwe
has already given you the best solution: place the Dabo framework
(the stuff in [python]/site-packages/dabo) somewhere local to you and
owned by you, and then use sudo to create a symlink in site-packages.
